The Traveling Gavel

The Traveling Gavel is an on-going event within the separate districts of Delaware and throughout Masonry to encourage Stated Meeting, event attendance and promote fellowship between symbolic lodges' visitations throughout the Masonic Year.

The Gavel is be able to transferred only within Stated Communications or special event of a Lodge and is awarded to the hosting or visiting lodge which has the most active members in attendance. The Gavel is then held within their possession under that Lodge's next Stated Communication when another Lodge may win it back.
